Job Description

The South Bend Cubs are the High-A affiliate of the renowned Chicago Cubs, playing a significant role in the development and nurturing of emerging baseball talent. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 50 pounds
  • willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • passion for food and beverage service
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • basic knowledge of food safety is a plus

Job Duties

  • assist in all aspects of food and beverage operations for all baseball games and non-baseball games at four winds field
  • assist in managing over 70 seasonal employees
  • aid in scheduling hours for the food and beverage department
  • properly care for and maintain equipment
  • operate, troubleshoot and train other employees on point-of-sale systems
  • assist with stocking and preparing concession stands and food carts for all games
  • help maintain cleanliness of stands and group spaces to meet health code regulations
  • help control inventory, food costs and labor cost
  • assist with daily office operations
  • maintain ballpark standards and cleanliness
  • walk, reach, stand, bend and stoop for long periods of time
  • climb stairs as needed
  • perform other duties as assigned
