Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- three years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- or associate degree from accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
- one year experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- ability to operate department equipment
- capacity to communicate effectively with staff and guests
- ability to supervise shifts and staffing levels
- knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- proficiency in managing budgets and payroll reports

Job Duties
- assist in ordering food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms
- supervise daily food and beverage shift operations and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and procedures
- support and supervise monthly self inspection program
- operate department equipment and report malfunctions
- supervise staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives
- encourage trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
- develop goals and plans to prioritize and organize work
- communicate areas needing attention to staff and ensure understanding
- coordinate cleaning program across all food and beverage areas and recommend improvements
- follow specific second effort and recovery plans
- remain available and approachable to all team members
- demonstrate knowledge of brand-specific service culture
- provide exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction and retention
- serve as a role model for appropriate behavior
- manage day-to-day operations to maintain quality standards and meet customer expectations
- proactively address guest concerns
- set positive examples for guest relations
- stay readily available and approachable to guests
- review guest satisfaction results and comment cards with employees
- respond timely to customer service requests
- provide information to supervisors and coworkers through various communication methods
