Job Requirements

  • Experience with food and beverage pairing and pricing strategies

Job Qualifications

  • At least five years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience
  • Experience in scheduling, inventory, ordering, training, beverage management, and pricing
  • Familiarity with Asian fusion cuisine, fine dining, private events, and convention business
  • Strong commitment to guest service and team development
  • Ability to collaborate across departments
  • Experience in high-volume operations and upscale restaurant or hotel environments preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage restaurant and bar operations
  • Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
  • Recruit, manage, train and develop the restaurant and bar team
  • Manage guest queries in timely and efficient manner
  • Work within budgeted guidelines related to food and payroll
  • Drive sales to maximize budgeted revenue
  • Develop menus with other food and beverage team members
  • Conduct monthly stock takes
  • Incentivize team members to maximize sales and revenue
  • Set departmental targets, work schedules, budgets, and policies
  • Evaluate guest satisfaction levels focusing on continuous improvement
  • Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated
  • Be environmentally aware
  • Assist other departments and maintain good working relationships
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
