Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years supervisory or managerial experience in hotel food and beverage
  • availability to work flexible AM and PM shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational and leadership skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • excellent communication skills
  • understanding of food, beverage and labor cost controls
  • knowledge of health, safety, sanitation and alcohol service regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory or managerial experience in hotel food and beverage
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • experience in high-volume food and beverage outlets
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of health, safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage labor and cost controls effectively

Job Duties

  • Direct and organize the activities of the food and beverage departments to maintain high standards of quality service and marketing
  • plan and direct the functions of administration and planning for the food and beverage department to meet operational needs
  • implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs
  • ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service
  • interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff
