Trilogy at Vistancia is a premier golf community located in Peoria, Arizona, approximately 40 minutes west of Scottsdale and northwest of downtown Phoenix. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • three to five years’ hospitality experience preferred
  • one to three years supervisory experience required
  • current Food Handlers Card and TIPS certification required
  • must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol
  • computer literate with Microsoft Office knowledge including Excel
  • knowledge of restaurant database software is a plus
  • knowledgeable of county regulations
  • ability to implement BSRG dining standards
  • ability to interpret food service industry publications
  • ability to understand standardized recipe formats
  • ability to write reports and correspondence
  • effective public speaking skills
  • ability to calculate food costs and analyze financial statements
  • basic computational and budgetary analysis skills
  • strong planning and problem-solving skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • attention to detail and timeliness
  • initiative and sound independent judgment
  • able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • knowledgeable about county regulations
  • ability to understand and implement BSRG dining standards
  • ability to read, analyze, and interpret food service industry periodicals
  • ability to understand standardized recipe formats
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • ability to speak effectively before customers and team members
  • ability to calculate food costs, menu pricing, discounts, inventory, labor standards, and volume
  • must understand profit and loss statements and capital project presentations
  • basic computational and budgetary analysis skills
  • strong planning, problem-solving, decision-making, delegation, time management, and employee development skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • able to consistently achieve high work standards with attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf to support company goals
  • support the Director in strategic planning and food & beverage initiatives
  • ensure superior standards of food service and quality
  • maintain effective communication regarding operations, safety, and employee concerns
  • hire, train, and supervise F&B staff, create schedules and coach team members
  • recognize team successes and maintain a positive team environment
  • manage costs of goods, labor, and general expenses
  • establish and manage purchase orders, checkbooks, budgets, and contribution reports
  • coordinate with Club Manager on budgets and sales goals
  • execute budgets daily, monthly, and annually
  • create operational reports as requested
  • oversee all F&B functions including events and weddings
  • maintain standards of excellence and stay current with industry trends
  • perform other duties as assigned
