- More than two years of post high school education or relevant experience
- Servsafe Manager Certification
- Bassett TiPS Alcohol Certification
- one to two years of employment in a related position with this company or other organizations
- excellent comprehension for assisting with guest and associate matters
- ability to interpret instructions from customers, associates, and managers
- excellent oral communication skills for communicating with guests and associates, issuing instructions and policies
- excellent comprehension required to read and implement policies and procedures, write schedules and read forecasts and SOPs
- must have knowledge of food safety and chemicals/agents for training purposes

Job Duties
- Manage the human resources within the department
- direct and oversee recruitment and development of employees including hiring, training, empowering, coaching, counseling, performance and salary reviews, resolving conflicts, discipline and termination as appropriate
- develop, recommend, implement and manage the department's annual budget, business and marketing plan, forecasts and objectives to meet or exceed management expectations
- implement and manage all company programs including compliance with SOPs and safety and sanitary regulations, as well as federal, state and local regulations, to ensure quality service and hospitality
- market the food and beverage outlets by developing and managing menus, package deals, promotions, displays, decorations and presentations within corporate guidelines to increase in-house guests and local market share to meet or exceed sales and financial goals
- manage maintenance and sanitation of food and beverage areas and equipment to protect assets and ensure quality service
- respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure quality experience and enhance future sales prospects
