Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in food and beverage management
  • Experience working in golf club or related hospitality environment preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Valid alcohol service certification or willingness to obtain
  • Basic proficiency in scheduling and budgeting software

Job Duties

  • Manages the golf course food and beverage operation within budgeted payroll guidelines, adjusting labor levels to align with daily play volume, weather conditions, tournaments, and seasonal demand
  • Oversees the condition and functionality of clubhouse, bar, banquet, and on-course service equipment, coordinating timely maintenance and repairs to support uninterrupted service
  • Resolves member and guest concerns professionally and discreetly, ensuring a high standard of service and positive experience consistent with club expectations
  • Develops and posts weekly employee schedules for all food and beverage outlets, balancing service needs with labor efficiency during peak golf and event periods
  • Collaborates closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to maintain efficient ticket times, consistent food quality, and proper plate presentation during regular service, tournaments, and banquets
  • Plans, promotes, and directs clubhouse dining, bar service, halfway house, beverage cart, and special event operations
  • Manages all banquet and golf outing food and beverage functions, including sales coordination, service execution, billing accuracy, and timely collection
