Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to a high school diploma or higher
- Experience managing food and beverage teams in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Knowledge and compliance with union labor guidelines
- Ability to work various shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency with computer software for budgeting and scheduling
- Availability to participate in Manager on Duty coverage and community relations activities
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience managing food and beverage operations at a luxury property
- Knowledge of union guidelines and labor relations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to develop and implement budgets and schedules
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in computer systems for forecasting and reporting
- Experience in menu planning and marketing
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Plan and direct all functions of the Food & Beverage department to meet daily operational needs
- Prepare, assign, and delegate responsibility for the operation of subdepartments
- Develop, implement, and monitor schedules to achieve profitable results
- Participate in menu design and marketing efforts
- Implement controls for food, beverage, and labor costs and monitor budget compliance
- Review and respond to customer satisfaction and recommend operating improvements
- Ensure compliance with Hilton policies and local laws
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate team members
- Participate in budget development and financial planning
- Attend mandatory meetings and Manager on Duty coverage
- Participate in community public relations
- Use computer systems to analyze forecast, cost, and revenue reports
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Demonstrate leadership that inspires team members to exceed standards
