Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years experience in a similar position in an establishment of comparable quality
- fluency in English verbal and written
- Familiarity with OSHA, SB198, local Department of Health regulations, state liquor laws and hazardous substance handling regulations
- Knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, budgets, foods and beverages, and service standards
- Computer literate with knowledge of Word and Excel

- Familiarity with OSHA, SB198, local health regulations, state liquor laws, and hazardous substance handling laws
- Thorough knowledge of restaurant and bar operations and budgets
- Overall knowledge of foods, beverages, service standards and procedures
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel
Job Duties
- Ensure established restaurant policies and procedures including service style are being followed
- Prepare annual budget with assistance from General Manager
- Coordinate all restaurant marketing, public relations, and advertising for food and beverage
- Partner with the Culinary Team on menu enhancements
- Control beverage inventory, variety, and cost
- Monitor and control division expenditures and payroll
- Execute and review monthly reports tracking covers, revenues, and costs
- Oversee departmental inventories and establish purchasing guidelines
- Document personnel and payroll transactions
- Train staff on all SOPs and ensure compliance
- Complete payroll and timekeeping logs
- Design, implement and coordinate consistent service levels
- Review food and beverage pricing and identify revenue opportunities
- Monitor service and quality standards
- Respond to guest needs and requests promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
- Schedule staff meetings, training, and food education
- Conduct monthly departmental meetings
- Promote and comply with all company policies
- Report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas
- Focus on safe work practices and compliance with regulations
- Attend mandatory meetings
- Perform other tasks including cross-training
