Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years experience in similar position
  • Fluency in English verbal and written
  • Knowledge of OSHA, SB198, health regulations, state liquor laws
  • Knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, budgets, and service standards
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Ability to move at least 75% of the time and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Fluency in English, verbal and written
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar position at an establishment of comparable quality
  • Familiarity with OSHA, SB198, local Department of Health regulations, state liquor laws and laws governing hazardous substances
  • Thorough knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, budgets, and service standards
  • Computer literacy including Word and Excel

Job Duties

  • Ensure established restaurant policies and procedures, including service style, are being followed
  • Prepare annual budget with assistance from the General Manager
  • Coordinate all restaurant marketing, public relations, and advertising for food and beverage
  • Partner with the Culinary Team on menu enhancements
  • Control beverage inventory, variety and cost to maintain supply, quality and profitability
  • Monitor and control division expenditures and payroll to meet operational standards and budget
  • Execute and review monthly reports tracking covers, revenues and costs compared to budget
  • Oversee departmental inventories and establish purchasing guidelines
  • Document personnel and payroll transactions as directed
  • Train staff on SOPs ensuring understanding and compliance
  • Complete payroll and timekeeping logs to specifications
  • Design and coordinate consistent service levels in all food and beverage outlets
  • Review food and beverage pricing regularly to identify revenue opportunities
  • Monitor service and quality standards continuously
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs and requests
  • Ensure culinary staff compliance with safety and health regulations
  • Schedule regular staff meetings, training and food education sessions
  • Conduct monthly departmental operations meetings
  • Promote and comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions immediately
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times
  • Enforce safe work practices and compliance with company, state and local safety standards
  • Attend all mandatory meetings as directed
  • Perform other tasks including cross-training as assigned
