Job Requirements

  • Professional degree or certification
  • 3-5 years culinary experience
  • possession of food handler's certification
  • ServSafe or equivalent certification

Job Qualifications

  • Professional degree or certification with 3-5 years hands-on culinary experience
  • possession of food handler's certification from Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
  • ServSafe or Food Handler's certification

Job Duties

  • Conduct consistent pre-shift and monthly meetings
  • maintain professional restaurant image including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
  • maintain positive client relations and anticipate guest needs
  • maintain communication with kitchen, serving staff, host team, and guests to ensure efficiency and address concerns
  • act as sommelier providing wine and cocktail recommendations and handling guest queries
  • ensure flawless execution of special occasion arrangements
  • complete financial and administrative duties including invoices, reporting, and payroll
  • inspect dining and serving areas for cleanliness and health standards
  • oversee day-to-day restaurant and bar operations including scheduling, staff assignments, inventory management, and closing procedures
  • promote a cooperative and harmonious work climate to maximize morale and productivity
  • work with department leads on training and development initiatives
  • evaluate performance and coordinate schedules to maintain adequate staffing
  • provide coaching and counseling to team members
  • ensure a safe environment by mitigating risk and completing accident reports if necessary
  • perform other duties as assigned by leadership
