Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related field preferred
  • four years of extensive relevant experience
  • ability to manage multiple food and beverage operations
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • excellent oral and written communication
  • knowledge of relevant laws and compliance standards
  • ability to prepare and manage budgets
  • must comply with select service registration if applicable
  • annual financial disclosure report required

Job Qualifications

  • four years extensive executive management experience in food and beverage or related business
  • ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel and the public
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • knowledge of food and beverage cost controls, sanitation, food safety, alcohol service, and accounting principles
  • sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • experience preparing budgets and analyzing financial trends
  • bachelor’s degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related field preferred
  • military or DoD MWR program experience preferred

Job Duties

  • manage and oversee food and beverage operations at multiple Marine Corps locations
  • coordinate and administer contract food operations including Subway and Starbucks
  • plan and execute catering, banquet functions, and special events
  • develop and implement promotional and advertising campaigns
  • establish budgets and maintain effective internal cost controls
  • recruit, train, mentor, and manage food and beverage staff
  • ensure compliance with safety, health, employment laws, and military regulations
