Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience in food and beverage within a hotel or similar setting
- Proven ability to manage multiple outlets and high-volume operations
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage cost control practices
- Ability to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of food and beverage management experience within a hotel or country club or similar environment
- Experience managing multiple units or outlets, preferably within a hotel
- Strong beverage background
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience with upscale casual and/or fine dining operations
- Ability to work a flexible and varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Manage daily banquet and outlet operations including guest service standards and initiatives
- Oversee product quality, cost controls, and overall profitability
- Implement marketing initiatives, system management, and policy enforcement
- Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, professional development, counselling, and recognition
- Assess product, service, and satisfaction trends, making improvements as necessary
- Implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
- Promote restaurant food and beverage services using marketing and up-selling techniques
- Ensure team members are knowledgeable about offerings, policies, local events, and pricing
- Interview, onboard, and provide ongoing training to team members
- Supervise, counsel, schedule, and evaluate staff
- Participate and facilitate meetings to drive department goals
