Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of food and beverage management experience
  • experience in a hotel setting preferred
  • understanding of high-volume coffee shop operations
  • proven leadership capabilities in cafe or coffee shop management
  • ability to oversee multiple outlets
  • skilled in enforcing operational standards and handling performance issues
  • capable of managing high traffic flow and maintaining speed of service
  • committed to maintaining brand integrity and quality
  • able to solve problems and adapt in dynamic environments
  • flexible with scheduling including mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • union management experience is advantageous

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of food and beverage management experience within a hotel setting
  • experience with high-volume coffee service and a strong understanding of cafe operations
  • previous experience as a lead or manager in a coffee shop setting
  • previous Starbucks leadership experience highly desirable
  • ability to oversee a multi-outlet operation
  • proven ability to manage high traffic flow and optimize workflow
  • experience maintaining brand integrity and product quality across multiple locations
  • demonstrated adaptability and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • union management experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage daily coffee outlet functions and operations
  • develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing staff covering product knowledge, service techniques, operational procedures, and brand standards
  • manage inventory, conduct regular stock takes, and control waste
  • ensure consistency in preparation, presentation, and service across all outlets
  • recruit, interview, and train team members
  • promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team
  • ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • conduct regular health and safety inspections and maintain relevant documentation
