Job Requirements
- 2 plus years' experience in the food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related professional area
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Degree in hospitality management, business, and/or culinary preferred
- Safe food handling certification
- Familiarity with sales and marketing tools, as well as food and beverage cost controls
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as B.E.O.s, safety rules, procedure manuals

Job Duties
- Recruit, train, and manage all front-of-house restaurant staff, including hosts, servers, and assistants
- Lead daily operations and team scheduling while maintaining high standards of service and hospitality
- Champion a cozy, inviting guest experience like welcoming them into a relaxed, upscale dinner party
- Collaborate with chefs to develop menu offerings using locally sourced ingredients
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, food quality, and service exceed both guest expectations and compliance standards
- Act as the "Chief Host," meeting guests, handling special occasions, managing reservations, and resolving concerns with care
- Monitor food and beverage costs, maintain sales records, and submit operations reports
- Manage restaurant inspections and ensure readiness for daily service and health code compliance
- Coach and evaluate team performance in partnership with the Director of Culture and Development
- Assist with restaurant marketing, sales lead generation, and guest loyalty initiatives
- Model leadership, safety awareness, and accountability for the entire F&B team
