Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in food and beverage
  • Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Prior hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team orientation and hands-on approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Strong food and beverage background
  • At least 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Preferably previous hotel experience with pool and beach service
  • Ability to lead a team of 10-15 people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of guest service
  • Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
  • Capability to manage budgets and forecasts
  • Proficient in inventory and cost control management

Job Duties

  • Assist in the management of all food and beverage operations including guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meeting participation
  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation and monitor cost and portion controls
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance including supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and recognition
  • Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolve guest concerns
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members
