Job Requirements

  • full availability
  • ability to supervise 10-15 front of the house team members per shift
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • experience with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • prior leadership experience in a hotel setting preferred
  • understanding of union knowledge preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 2-5 years food and beverage leadership experience
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • prior hotel leadership experience preferred
  • knowledge of unionized environments highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Direct and organize the activities of the food and beverage departments to maintain high standards of quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service
  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the food and beverage department to meet daily operational needs
  • Implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service
  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule, and evaluate staff
