Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- previous supervisory experience preferred
- ability to earn and maintain ServSafe certification
- proficiency with Microsoft applications
- excellent communication and motivational skills
- knowledge of food cost and labor analysis
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to write and interpret documents in English
- basic computer skills
- ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately
- ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in a loud environment with exposure to secondhand smoke
- ability to qualify for required licenses and permits
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
- previous supervisory experience in a full service or high-volume restaurant preferred
- ability to earn and maintain ServSafe certification
- proficiency in Microsoft applications
- ability to train and motivate personnel
- excellent motivational, communication and customer service skills
- organizational development and personnel assessment skills
- knowledge of food cost and labor analysis
- ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues diplomatically
- ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and ability to interpret graphs
Job Duties
- Direct all Food & Beverage and casino beverage operations
- develop team members to provide exceptional service and maximize profitability
- think strategically about pricing, quality, marketing, and customer satisfaction
- develop financial, business and capital expenditure plans
- respond to changes and alter plans as necessary
- present updates and provide explanations and solutions
- provide leadership consistent with the Code of Conduct
- ensure product quality and control standards
- tie operational challenges to strategic direction
- assist in designing menus
- implement and audit inventory and cost control systems
- manage departmental managers and supervisors
- develop and implement departmental training programs
- review and motivate managerial performance
- promote programs to reward and recognize team members
- manage personnel status changes
- protect and preserve company assets
- complete reports and verification processes
- review and approve operational practices
- administer disciplinary actions
- maintain confidentiality
- promote customer service programs
- provide safety and training
- adhere to regulatory and company policies
