Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • 5+ years' experience in food and beverage management role at attraction, hotel, or similar environment
  • Highly analytical and creative thinker
  • Working knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
  • Strong communication skills including writing contracts, reports and correspondence
  • Fluent in English
  • Business calculation skills for P&L financials
  • Computer knowledge including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of POS preferable
  • Flexible with ability to multitask and work under stress
  • Strong people management skills with coaching, motivating, delegating
  • Dependable attendance including overtime, evenings, weekends, holidays
  • Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
  • Necessary State Food Handler's and Liquor Service License(s)
  • Able to carry 25 pounds up and down stairs

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food and beverage management at an attraction, hotel, or similar environment
  • Highly analytical with creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills including writing and presenting
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of POS systems preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Strong people management skills including coaching and motivating
  • Working knowledge of liquor laws and health and safety regulations
  • Ability to perform business calculations for P&L management
  • Flexible and able to work in stressful situations
  • Capable of maintaining dependable attendance including evenings, weekends, holidays
  • Holds necessary State Food Handler’s and Liquor Service Licenses

Job Duties

  • Manages front and back of house service for the bar, restaurant, kitchen, and events to optimize efficiency and service excellence
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs of all guest-facing areas, making real-time adjustments to ensure seamless workflows, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
  • Works with Chef and F&B Supervisor to manage menus, inventory, and ordering
  • Oversee interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and performance management for food and beverage staff
  • Conduct OMG Check-ins and foster a positive, inclusive work environment
  • Implement training programs for service excellence, guest engagement, and operational excellence
  • Ensure compliance with local liquor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies
  • Act as the primary contact for King County Health Inspections and maintain excellent ratings
  • Create and maintain operational SOPs for kitchen equipment use and safety
  • Collaborate with the management team to enhance guest experience through curated menus and exceptional service
  • Manage catering and event operational planning alongside the Banquet Captain
  • Partner with F&B leadership to manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Handle team member scheduling and labor cost control
  • Monitor industry trends and departmental profit and loss statements
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and operational documentation
  • Participate in Manager on Duty coverage and perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager
