Job Requirements
- Proven food and beverage management experience
- working knowledge of various computer software programs including MS Office, restaurant management software, POS systems
- ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- mastery in delegating multiple tasks
- strong communication and leadership skills
- knowledge of up to date food and beverage trends and best practices
- ability to work a minimum of 50+ hours per week
- ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
- guest-oriented and service-minded
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- TIPS or CARE beverage service training and certification or ability to obtain local certifications as required by law
- ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout shift
- ability to perform physically demanding responsibilities such as walking, standing, carrying, and lifting continuously throughout the shift

Job Duties
- Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines for food, liquor and payroll to the highest standards
- preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service and resolve customer complaints as appropriate
- design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
- market the food and beverage outlet, package deals, promotions, displays, decorations and presentations within corporate guidelines
- identify customers' needs and respond proactively to their concerns
- lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
- establish schedules and follow all policies and procedures
- comply with all health and safety regulations
- report to management regarding sales results and productivity
- develop daily check-lists for each department and each shift
- review all payroll punches on a bi-weekly basis and approve time off requests
- ensure proper staffing, planning and execution of banquets and events
- perform daily walk-throughs to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Marriott International standards
- review all adjustments daily and ensure proper notes are made
- maintain food safety logs
- order food, beer, wine, liquor
- knowledge and understanding of Lightspeed
- perform daily huddles
- monthly inventory and weekly bar inventory
- attend and actively participate in weekly department meetings
