Job Requirements

  • Education in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Several years of food and beverage management experience
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service
  • Ability to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Basic computational ability
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Regular attendance
  • Physical ability to perform job tasks including standing and lifting
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food and beverage leadership role
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local food and liquor laws
  • Strong business communication and presentation skills
  • High work ethic and self-initiative
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to maintain excellent staff and guest relationships
  • Ability to lead departmental and hotel team meetings

Job Duties

  • Supervise, guide and train all management level associates
  • Schedule, evaluate and direct all food and beverage personnel
  • Ensure appropriate inventory of supplies and materials
  • Establish and review performance standards in food preparation, purchasing and production
  • Ensure safe food handling protocols are followed
  • Monitor and coordinate sanitation, cleanliness and organization efforts
  • Establish, direct and review liquor procedures
  • Participate in hotel management team meetings
  • Drive financial performance through menu creation, specials and promotions
  • Coach and counsel associates including managers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
