Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in food and beverage management or related hospitality role
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in cost management and operations planning

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food and beverage management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations and cost controls
  • Familiarity with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol regulations
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work primarily evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct functions of administration and planning of the Food and Beverage department to meet daily operational needs
  • Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service
  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff
  • Oversee in-room dining operations ensuring adherence to Forbes Travel Guide standards
  • Collaborate with Director of Restaurants to uphold and enhance service standards
