Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- minimum five years of food and beverage management experience
- demonstrated leadership capabilities
- excellent communication skills
- flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to oversee multiple food and beverage outlets
- commitment to quality and customer service
- knowledge of local and sustainable food sourcing practices
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- extensive experience in food and beverage management preferably in luxury hotel or fine dining environments
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- knowledge of sustainable sourcing and regional cuisine preferred
- proficiency in budget management and cost control
- familiarity with health and safety regulations
- experience with Forbes Travel Guide standards
Job Duties
- Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the food and beverage department to meet daily operational needs
- implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs
- ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service
- interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff
- oversee in-room dining operations during duty hours
- collaborate with the Director of Restaurants to maintain Estuary's reputation as a premier dining destination
