Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years experience in food and beverage management
  • Experience in upscale dining environments
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Familiarity with unionized workforce is preferred
  • Prior experience with in-room dining operations is a bonus

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of food and beverage leadership experience with a background in upscale dining
  • Prior union management experience is a plus
  • Previous in-room dining management experience is advantageous
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment
  • Demonstrated creativity and initiative in food and beverage operations

Job Duties

  • Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in Atrio, In Room Dining and Leonessa Rooftop Bar
  • Ensure that food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food in outlet
  • Greet and seat customers, resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties and answer telephones in a clear voice, coordinate and document reservations
  • Document inventory forecast usage and monitor supply so that restaurants are stocked with linen, glassware, silverware, china, condiments in order to provide service
  • Assist in ensuring that restaurant complies with sanitation and safety standards for guests and team members
  • Check that all equipment is in working order
  • Visually inspect and take action to ensure that facilities in restaurant look appealing and attractive to guests
  • Follow up on work orders so repairs and maintenance of facility are completed on a timely basis
  • Participate in marketing efforts of restaurants, create menu ideas, survey competition and report food trends, and assist in preparations of specials
  • Interact with customers to determine needs, satisfaction and resolve conflicts
