Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years experience in food and beverage management
- Experience in upscale dining environments
- Proven leadership abilities
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with unionized workforce is preferred
- Prior experience with in-room dining operations is a bonus
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of food and beverage leadership experience with a background in upscale dining
- Prior union management experience is a plus
- Previous in-room dining management experience is advantageous
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment
- Demonstrated creativity and initiative in food and beverage operations
Job Duties
- Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in Atrio, In Room Dining and Leonessa Rooftop Bar
- Ensure that food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food in outlet
- Greet and seat customers, resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties and answer telephones in a clear voice, coordinate and document reservations
- Document inventory forecast usage and monitor supply so that restaurants are stocked with linen, glassware, silverware, china, condiments in order to provide service
- Assist in ensuring that restaurant complies with sanitation and safety standards for guests and team members
- Check that all equipment is in working order
- Visually inspect and take action to ensure that facilities in restaurant look appealing and attractive to guests
- Follow up on work orders so repairs and maintenance of facility are completed on a timely basis
- Participate in marketing efforts of restaurants, create menu ideas, survey competition and report food trends, and assist in preparations of specials
- Interact with customers to determine needs, satisfaction and resolve conflicts
