Job Requirements

  • minimum bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
  • at least 4 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage management
  • excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • fluency in both Spanish and English
  • ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team

Job Qualifications

  • hospitality oriented
  • bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field (preferred)
  • proficient in restaurant functions including food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports
  • proven experience in food and beverage management with minimum 4 years in a supervisory role
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • knowledge of industry trends, culinary techniques, and beverage trends
  • ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • fully bilingual in Spanish and English

Job Duties

  • manage daily food and beverage shift operation and monitor compliance with all policies, standards, and procedures
  • operate all department equipment as necessary and report malfunction
  • supervise staffing levels to verify guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met
  • develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
  • monitor and maintain the productivity level of employees
  • verify that all team members and supervisors understand the brand specific philosophy
  • maintain the operating budget and verify compliance with standards and legal obligations
  • assist supervisors in understanding team members' needs and how to exceed them
  • coordinate cleaning programs in all food and beverage areas, identify trends and recommend improvements
  • establish and maintain collaborative relationships with employees
  • create and nurture a property environment emphasizing motivation, empowerment, teamwork, and passion for service
  • demonstrate knowledge of the brand specific service culture
  • improve service by coaching individuals to understand guest needs
  • serve as a role model demonstrating appropriate behaviors
  • manage day-to-day operations and monitor quality and standards daily
  • take proactive approaches to guest and employee concerns
  • review comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees
  • respond timely to customer service requests
  • negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships
  • recruit, hire, and train food and beverage staff
  • provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback
  • analyze sales trends and identify revenue growth and cost savings opportunities
  • ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health code standards
  • encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships and support the team to reach common goals
