Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in hotel or restaurant management or two years supervisory experience in high volume food service with P&L responsibilities may substitute
  • Three years experience in all areas of food and beverage
  • Excellent managerial and administrative skills
  • Professional appearance per company handbook
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Record of satisfactory performance and reliability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in hotel or restaurant management or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years in food and beverage operations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in budget management and cost control
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to train and develop staff
  • Proficiency in managing multiple food and beverage outlets
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Culinary arts school certificate preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform food and beverage analysis to ensure efficient operations
  • Review financial transactions and monitor departmental budgets
  • Complete inventory audits and financial reports for cost containment
  • Investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints
  • Plan and develop menus and pricing structures
  • Institute cost control policies and performance standards
  • Analyze operations and profit and loss statements to recommend actions
  • Evaluate purchasing and market conditions for menu planning
  • Enforce sanitary practices and maintain cleanliness
  • Monitor patron alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary
  • Train and develop team members to ensure excellent service
  • Administer performance appraisals and provide coaching
  • Enforce uniform and appearance guidelines
  • Hire and develop personnel ensuring adequate labor levels
  • Ensure staff safety training and equipment maintenance
  • Maintain positive communication across the property
  • Adjust staffing for marketing promotions
  • Anticipate and handle operational changes
  • Promote a service excellence environment
  • Provide management coverage as needed
  • Perform supervisory and operational duties when required
  • Adhere to all regulatory and company policies ethically
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
