Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent supervisory experience in food and beverage management
  • Minimum three years experience in food and beverage operations
  • Excellent managerial and administrative skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Availability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Reliable employment record

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in hotel or restaurant management or two years supervisory experience in a related environment with P and L responsibilities may substitute for education
  • Minimum three years experience in all areas of food and beverage
  • Excellent managerial and administrative skills
  • Professional appearance as per company handbook
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Record of satisfactory performance and reliability
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Culinary arts school certificate preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform food and beverage analysis to ensure operational efficiency
  • Review financial transactions and monitor budget adherence
  • Complete inventory audits and financial reports to maintain cost control
  • Investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints
  • Plan and develop menus and pricing structures
  • Institute cost control policies and procedures to improve profitability
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and operational data to inform decision making
  • Evaluate purchasing and market conditions to plan menu items and inventory
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness
  • Monitor alcohol consumption and intervene as necessary
  • Develop team members through training to ensure excellent guest service
  • Administer and review performance appraisals and provide coaching
  • Enforce uniform and appearance standards
  • Hire and develop personnel ensuring adequate staffing
  • Train staff on safe operation of equipment and maintain safety standards
  • Maintain positive communication throughout the property
  • Adjust staffing according to marketing promotions and business levels
  • Anticipate and manage planning changes effectively
  • Create an entertaining environment focused on service excellence
  • Provide management coverage as needed
  • Perform various food and beverage supervisory and operational duties
  • Adhere to company policies and encourage ethical behavior
  • Perform other duties as assigned
