Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- A 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 to 2 years of related experience or a culinary degree with 1 to 2 years of progressive experience
- Holds and maintains required certifications including food handlers alcohol awareness CPR and first aid
- Proficient in Windows operating systems spreadsheets and word processing
- Able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative actions quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure maintaining composure and objectivity
- Effective at anticipating preventing identifying and solving workplace problems
- Ability to assimilate complex information and data
- Effective at listening understanding clarifying and resolving concerns from co-workers and guests
- Financial literacy including understanding of basic arithmetic functions and payroll control
- Familiarity with hotel organization and departmental functions
- Possess strong communication skills and basic technological acumen
- Knowledge and experience with forecasting budgeting labor management and purchasing
- Ability to complete forecasting and budgeting in a timely manner
- Maintain professional relationships and promote open communication
- Awareness of local competition and industry trends
Job Qualifications

- Extensive experience in restaurant bar banquet catering in room dining and kitchen management
- Strong communication skills including speaking reading and writing
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Effective problem-solving and composure under pressure
- Ability to assimilate complex information and adjust to meet operational needs
- Financial literacy including ability to analyze forecast data and manage payroll and production control
- Knowledge of hotel organization and departmental functions
- Experience with forecasting budgeting labor management and purchasing
- Ability to complete forecasting and budgeting efficiently
- Knowledgeable about local competition and industry trends
Job Duties
- Organize direct supervise and assist in preparation and service of all food and beverage based on standardized recipes for restaurant bar room service market employee cafeteria and banquets
- Ensure cleanliness sanitation and safety in kitchens service stations FOH BOH work and storage areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost production ratio
- Plan meals and service while directing and guiding the chef with various assignments including pricing banquets etc
- Provide oversight of kitchen staff outlets banquet food display merchandising and operations of kitchen service beverage and banquet departments as required
- Maintain adherence to budgeted payroll and overhead costs
- Develop and drive a positive work environment focused on improving guest and employee satisfaction
- Communicate and coordinate effectively across departments to promote open lines of communication and collaboration
