- Competence in inventory control
Job Qualifications
- Must have 2 plus years of hotel restaurant experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends as well as industry best practices
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software
Job Duties
- Manage daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to optimize service, efficiency, and productivity
- Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and mentor restaurant staff including servers, bartenders, and support personnel
- Assist in the design and implementation of training programs to enhance staff performance and guest satisfaction
- Supervise the bar and lounge areas including staffing, inventory control, and quality of service
- Assist in the development of beverage menus ensuring alignment with current trends and guest preferences
- Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, setting the standard for staff interactions with guests
- Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally and promptly
- Manage labor and scheduling controls
- Oversee P and L operational controls
- Control inventory costs
