Job Requirements

  • Leadership experience in managing staff

Job Duties

  • Ensure excellent service for all guests
  • Develop and maintain rapport and cohesiveness of the team
  • Develop, implement and maintain quality standards for food and beverage outlets
  • Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and discipline restaurant staff
  • Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings
  • Schedule and direct staff work assignments
  • Interact positively with customers
  • Resolve guest problems satisfactorily
  • Answer telephones and coordinate reservations
  • Organize special events such as receptions
  • Maintain communication with all departments
  • Monitor food quality and service standards
  • Verify temperatures, appearance and taste of products
  • Give guidance on improvements
  • Maintain outlet profitability
  • Control payroll and equipment costs
  • Maintain par stock levels
  • Evaluate operation cost effectiveness
  • Implement cost-saving measures
  • Utilize cash handling procedures
  • Create forecast and revenue reports
