Job Duties
- Monitor industry trends and update cocktail lists and menu items as necessary
- prepare the food and beverage budget and monitor department performance
- work with the General Manager and remain informed of food and beverage issues
- coordinate and monitor loss prevention in the food and beverage department
- prepare and submit required reports on time
- organize and conduct regular department meetings
- ensure compliance with local liquor laws and health and sanitation regulations
- ensure departmental training and compliance of standard operating procedures
- interview candidates and follow hiring standards for front-of-house food and beverage positions
- conduct and attend required meetings including pre-event and post-event meetings
- provide tools and environment for employees to deliver exceptional dining experiences
- develop and implement strategies for employee engagement
- maintain product consistency through inspections of seasonings, portions, and food appearance
