Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in F&B management
  • proven leadership skills in a luxury resort or hotel setting
  • strong financial management abilities
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • knowledge of POS systems and inventory control
  • commitment to high standards of hygiene and safety
  • ability to manage and motivate diverse teams
  • experience in budget preparation and cost control

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years as an F&B Manager in a leading luxury resort or hotel property
  • ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of F&B professionals
  • excellent guest service and communication skills
  • strong leadership and financial acumen
  • additional certification or experience in wine and spirits is advantageous
  • dedicated to personalized guest service
  • proven ability to monitor revenue generation and develop F&B solutions

Job Duties

  • Ensure the monthly forecasted beverage revenue figures are achieved
  • strictly adhere to established operating expenses and control all costs
  • participate in the formulation of the annual operating budget for outlet projected revenues and expenses
  • obtain and account for correct settlement of all sales including management of cashier and bar floats
  • handle voiding, correcting, and checks according to prescribed procedures
  • identify and correct any errors
  • manage the outlet efficiently according to established concept statements and service standards
  • assign responsibilities to subordinates and oversee their performance
  • establish a pool of qualified part-time employees with HR
  • provide feedback to the F&B Director on operational issues and service improvements
  • be present on the floor during happy hour and special programs
  • promote the hotel and facilities to maximize sales
  • implement flexible scheduling based on business patterns
  • maintain par stocks and conduct monthly inventory checks on equipment and supplies
  • control requisitioning, storage, and use of operating equipment and supplies
  • conduct daily pre-shift briefings
  • liaise with kitchen and beverage departments on daily operations and quality control
  • understand menu items thoroughly and recommend food and beverage combinations
  • handle guest inquiries courteously and report complaints
  • establish and maintain good customer relationships
  • ensure strict adherence to outlet cashiering procedures and point-of-sale operations
  • develop professional relationships with internal and external customers
  • adhere to employees handbook rules and hotel policies on fire, hygiene, health and safety
  • maintain punctuality and proper uniform standards
  • uphold high standards of personal appearance and hygiene
  • foster a good working relationship with staff and other departments
  • attend and contribute to staff meetings, departmental and hotel training
  • support departmental training functions
  • undertake reasonable secondary duties assigned by the Food & Beverage Director
  • adapt to changes in restaurant functions
  • project a positive and motivated attitude
  • understand and comply with operations manual and policies
  • provide courteous and professional service
  • conduct monthly staff meetings
  • attend executive management meetings
  • prepare and participate in monthly objective reviews
