Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience as an F&B Manager in a luxury resort or hotel
  • Proven leadership ability

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure monthly forecasted beverage revenue figures are achieved
  • Adhere to established operating expenses and control all costs
  • Participate in formulating the Annual Operating Budget including projected revenues, expenses, and equipment requirements
  • Obtain and account for correct settlement of all sales, managing cashier and bar floats
  • Handle voiding and corrections of checks as per procedures and account for checks used each shift
  • Manage the outlet efficiently according to the concept statement, providing courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service
  • Assign responsibilities to subordinates, implement multitasking, and periodically check their performance
  • Establish a pool of qualified part-time employees with Human Resources
  • Provide feedback and assist F&B Director on daily operations and service improvement
  • Be present on the floor especially during happy hour and special programs
  • Promote the hotel and its facilities to maximize sales and revenue
  • Implement flexible scheduling based on business patterns
  • Adhere to par stock levels for equipment, supplies, and inventory
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks on equipment and supplies
  • Control requisitioning, storage, and use of equipment and supplies
  • Conduct daily pre-shift briefings on preparation, service, and menu
  • Liaise with Kitchen and Beverage Departments on operations and quality control
  • Have thorough knowledge of all menu items and recommend food and beverage combinations
  • Handle guest inquiries and report complaints ensuring follow-up
  • Establish and maintain good customer relationships
  • Ensure strict adherence to cashiering procedures and correct operation of POS system
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers
  • Adhere to employee handbook rules and hotel policies on fire, hygiene, health, and safety
  • Maintain punctuality, proper uniform, and personal appearance
  • Foster positive rapport with staff and other departments
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings and training
  • Support Departmental Trainer functions
  • Undertake tasks assigned by F&B Director
  • Adapt to changes in restaurant functions as required
  • Maintain a positive and motivated attitude with self-control
  • Understand and follow Operations Manual and Policies & Procedures
  • Provide courteous and professional service at all times
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings
  • Attend Executive Management meetings
  • Prepare and participate in Monthly Objective Review
