Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • previous management experience required
  • valid state driver’s license required
  • minimum 3 years experience in food and beverage management
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • able to stand for extended periods
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, walking, and climbing ladders
  • able to work independently and handle emergency situations
  • capable of working in cold environments
  • willing to perform seasonal snow removal

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or related field preferred
  • minimum 3 years experience in food and beverage management preferably in high-volume or truck stop environments
  • proven experience managing branded and proprietary food programs
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and health department compliance
  • excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced environment
  • flexible to work weekends and holidays
  • valid state driver’s license required

Job Duties

  • Supervise and motivate a team of food service employees to provide high-quality customer service
  • ensure staff knowledge of branded and proprietary food programs
  • conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
  • oversee branded and proprietary food programs ensuring consistency in quality and presentation
  • coordinate with vendors for timely delivery
  • monitor inventory levels and place orders
  • manage food cost and labor budgets for profitability
  • monitor customer satisfaction and address complaints
  • implement high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • oversee daily operations including staffing and stocking
  • assist with food and beverage preparation and serving
  • perform regular quality checks on food offerings
  • ensure food handling safety and cleanliness
  • maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and staffing
  • prepare weekly operational performance reports
