Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum of two years of experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Recent hospitality graduates will be considered
  • Strong knowledge with Clover Sport POS, inventory software, and IT processes preferred
  • Prior experience with inventory control preferred but not required
  • Serv Safe Manager, Alcohol, and Allergen certified (can be after hire)
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to sit in a small office environment for extended periods
  • Ability to perform data entry with repetitive hand/finger motions
  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments with possible exposure to temperature extremes
  • Ability to work in confined or narrow spaces
  • Willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards with Health Department knowledge
  • Demonstrated financial acumen including P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience
  • Technologically savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Clover Sport POS Software
  • Flexibility to work extended or irregular hours including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to accept change, new procedures, and constructive feedback
  • Self-starter capable of multitasking and contributing beyond retail operations
  • Initiative in timely and effective problem identification and resolution
  • Strong leadership and client/guest relationship management skills
  • Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information
  • Proven cost control and revenue generation skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to manage multiple direct reports
  • Adherence to company inventory control policies and procedures
  • Willingness to assist across the Food & Beverage department
  • Required certifications including Lancaster County Food Manager permit and Serv Safe Manager, Alcohol and Allergen Certifications
  • Desire for self-development and ability to grow within the department

Job Duties

  • Oversees concessions and warehouse associates including developing, promoting, corrective counseling, mentoring, evaluating performance, and providing feedback to improve performance
  • Sets inventory levels and creates requisitions in the warehouse, concession stands, portables, bars, and kiosks
  • Orders products for events and inspects and accepts deliveries for quality and accuracy
  • Maintains existing programs and develops new concepts to ensure the highest quality of food and beverage service
  • Works with Executive Chef and Senior Food & Beverage Manager to ensure food and beverage standards are met
  • Oversees pricing and portions within approved profit plan guidelines
  • Manages visual appeal and signage of all stands ensuring product display meets industry standards
  • Studies current trends to update and improve operations
  • Ensures repair and maintenance of food and beverage equipment
  • Responsible for operations of stands, portable carts, bars, kiosks, and warehouse
  • Maximizes sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and service standards are met
  • Implements Management by Walking Around during events to adjust operations and engage with staff and guests
  • Coordinates end-of-month inventory process with Senior Food & Beverage Manager
  • Recruits, trains, and staffs concessions and warehouse areas
  • Maintains staff training manuals including Standard Operating Procedures
  • Handles sales documents, inventory input, payroll coding, event openings and closings in POS systems
  • Complies with health department and safe beverage regulations
  • Enforces all company policies and provides excellent customer service to clients and vendors
  • Shares supervision and management responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions in accordance with policies and laws
