Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food and beverage, restaurant, or private club
  • Preferred certifications such as Food Handlers Certificate, Alcohol Safety, STAR Service Certification, STAR Trainer Certification, TABC Certification, CPR Certification
  • Completion of food and beverage training modules
  • Experience handling confidential data
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Capacity to work in varying environmental conditions
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Effective communication abilities including talking and hearing
  • Sufficient visual acuity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, restaurant, or private club setting
  • Preferred certifications include Food Handlers Certificate, Alcohol Safety, STAR Service Certification, STAR Trainer Certification, TABC Certification, CPR Certification
  • Completion of all food & beverage online training modules including service, host, bartender, server assistant, banquet server, beverage cart attendant, kitchen, employee training, F&B refresh, culinary safety, food safety, and alcohol safety
  • Strong experience handling confidential member and employee data
  • Proficient computer skills including spreadsheet software
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain invited service standards at high levels
  • Provide exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests
  • Ensure member/guest orders are accurately executed and delivered promptly
  • Supervise service staff as directed to ensure consistent and high-quality service execution
  • Monitor the reservation book to stay informed about shift functions, special notes, and room setups
  • Oversee room setups to match reservations and event specifications
  • Complete opening and closing procedures for meal shifts
  • Ensure daily side work and assignments are completed in line with service FOCUS expectations
  • Assist in the training and development of service staff
  • Participate in and lead staff meetings and training sessions as directed
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the a la carte menu and beverage offerings
  • Record necessary information in the log for the next shift
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors about updates and special instructions
  • Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned
  • Follow all company, club, and department policies and procedures
  • Represent company management by supporting and enforcing policies with ethics and integrity
  • Maintain professionalism in interactions
  • Promote safe working practices and compliance
  • Initiate personal and professional growth
  • Address and resolve challenges collaboratively
  • Support team efficiency and club goals
