Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years of experience in fine dining or banquet management
  • valid Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit if applicable
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • compliance with health and safety regulations
  • ability to manage and motivate a team effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Read, write and speak English
  • two to three years of fine dining experience preferred
  • two years of banquet management experience preferred
  • possess Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
  • effective communication skills
  • previous supervisory or management experience
  • meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • 8th grade math level
  • high school reasoning level
  • 12th grade language use level
  • must not pose a direct threat to health or safety of self or others

Job Duties

  • Assist department head in oversight of food and beverage department activities
  • ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • maintain high standards of food and beverage quality
  • maximize profits through effective service and marketing
  • interview and train staff
  • supervise and coach food and beverage team
  • schedule and manage department staff
