Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of two years of experience in fine dining or banquet management
- valid Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit if applicable
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- compliance with health and safety regulations
- ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
Job Qualifications
- Read, write and speak English
- two to three years of fine dining experience preferred
- two years of banquet management experience preferred
- possess Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
- effective communication skills
- previous supervisory or management experience
- meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
- 8th grade math level
- high school reasoning level
- 12th grade language use level
- must not pose a direct threat to health or safety of self or others
Job Duties
- Assist department head in oversight of food and beverage department activities
- ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- maintain high standards of food and beverage quality
- maximize profits through effective service and marketing
- interview and train staff
- supervise and coach food and beverage team
- schedule and manage department staff
