Job Duties

  • Schedule employees at proper staffing levels
  • watch labor costs daily
  • ensure adherence to brand and franchise standards
  • conduct pre-shift meetings
  • maintain food and beverage quality and guest service standards
  • resolve guest complaints
  • assist with banquets, social parties, and special events
  • coordinate with Sales Office on event details
  • monitor expenses and assist in budget development
  • requisition food and equipment
  • hire, terminate, discipline, evaluate, train, and schedule employees
  • analyze guest feedback and financial reports
  • supervise banquet service
  • conduct monthly inventories and reduce losses
  • promote sales through incentive programs
  • maintain open communication with employees and departments
  • respond promptly to guest requests
  • conduct training on safety, security, procedures, and service guidelines
  • complete required paperwork
  • ensure proper posting of banquet charges
  • participate in annual budget development
  • ensure compliance with all laws including OSHA, EEOC, Wage Hour, and Health laws
