Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Fulfill service requirements per banquet event orders
  • coordinate timing and production of service with kitchen staff and other departments
  • manage breakdown activities ensuring clean and orderly event areas
  • fulfill service requirements per concession event orders
  • manage concession operations during events
  • ensure staff are properly trained for food and alcohol service
  • maintain cash handling and inventory accuracy per company policies
  • manage beverage inventories ordering and supply receipt
  • ensure bars comply with Savor Safe Beverage Program
  • schedule labor within fiscal budget
  • maintain payroll and timesheet accuracy
  • order and maintain inventory of linens, uniforms, and small wares
  • reconcile point-of-sale systems and revenues
  • ensure health department score of 95 or higher
  • hire and train servers, cashiers, bartenders, and captains
  • conduct pre-shift meetings to reinforce training and updates
  • participate in pre-function meetings as Food and Beverage representative
  • maintain engagement in local hospitality community and professional associations
  • supervise all wait staff, bar staff, and concessions staff including hiring, training, scheduling, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions
  • act as manager on duty during events as needed
