Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least two years of food service or catering experience
- effective customer service and communication skills
- availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong leadership and decision-making ability
- basic math skills for measurements and transactions
- computer literacy including Microsoft Office
- ability to complete ServSafe certification
- valid driver’s license
- possession of Indiana Server Permit Liquor License
- availability to work varied hours including long shifts
- capable of lifting and moving up to 80 pounds
- able to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and balance for extended periods
- ability to handle stressful and fast-paced environment

- minimum two years of food service or catering experience in a similar environment
- previous management experience in a fast-paced, diverse venue preferred
- valid driver’s license and reliable telephone contact
- ability to successfully complete ServSafe certification
- possession of Indiana Server Permit Liquor License and Alcohol Awareness Course completion
- proficiency in English language comprehension and interpretation
- ability to maintain composure in fast-paced settings
- strong problem analysis and decision-making skills
- ability to recall and apply operational procedures
- common sense understanding of instructions
Job Duties
- Assures timely preparation and execution of banquet and catering event orders
- personally perform duties assigned to servers, bartenders, and supervisory personnel
- plan, coordinate, and manage setup, preparation, service and removal of food
- direct and coordinate front of house food and beverage operations
- develop and maintain service techniques, food quality, inventory levels, and labor monitoring
- ensure highest standard of guest service
- assist with hiring and training of employees and complete payroll
- work with Director on menu selections, labor arrangements, ordering, repairs, and HR matters
- schedule and coach part-time staff
- meet with clients to plan catering events and coordinate with chefs
- receive and inventory products and match invoices
- close out concessions and balance cash registers post events
- assist in development of operational goals and plans
- responsible for setup and breakdown of catering bars and bar service
- perform opening and closing procedures and daily staffing plans
- complete employee disciplinary actions
- address patron and employee complaints
- perform related duties as assigned
