Job Requirements

  • Five years of related experience in hotel operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Significant attention to detail
  • Understanding of NOI profitability and budget goals
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of health department rules and liquor laws
  • Computer skills with preference for hotel information systems experience

Job Duties

  • Monitor industry trends and update menu items and cocktail lists as necessary
  • Prepare the food and beverage budget and monitor department performance
  • Coordinate with the General Manager and communicate food and beverage issues
  • Supervise loss prevention efforts in the food and beverage department
  • Organize and conduct regular department meetings
  • Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and health regulations
  • Interview and hire front-of-house food and beverage staff
