Job Description

The Bismarck Larks are a prominent team in the Northwoods League (NWL), which is recognized as the largest organized summer collegiate baseball league in the world. Since joining the NWL in 2017, the Bismarck Larks have been a significant presence in collegiate baseball, providing a platform for some of the top college baseball players from North America and beyond to refine their skills during the summer season. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food and beverage or hospitality experience
  • Customer service or operations experience
  • Availability for all Bismarck Larks home games and team events including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work extended hours upwards of 14 hours
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in point of sale procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Valid work authorization

Job Duties

  • Oversee and maintain all food and beverage operations including menu planning, product ordering and receiving, inventory, equipment, set-up and tear-down of food and beverage areas
  • Ensure ballpark food operations meet game day and event timelines and exceed guest expectations
  • Identify trends and implement new ideas and products to increase revenue
  • Assist operations team with hiring, training and developing part-time employees according to Bismarck Larks standards
  • Adequately schedule all part-time staff during the season
  • Establish and maintain a clean line of communication with internal departments to ensure the most successful operations strategies and execution of food and beverage operations
  • Maintain vendor relationships for operational needs
  • Serve as food and beverage lead for all game-day and non-game day events
  • Assist with day-to-day maintenance of the ballpark and equipment including repairs, moving items, organization of equipment and goods, cleaning
  • Increase operational efficiencies through technology, systems and processes
  • Be knowledgeable and proficient in point of sale procedures
  • Ensure compliance of all safety and sanitary standards
  • Monitor in-stadium signage and cleanliness ensuring all signs are hung properly and concession areas are clean
  • Assist with Funatix Event food and beverage operations and staffing
  • Represent the team at various networking and community events as defined by the team
