Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of food and beverage management experience in luxury, upscale, or boutique hospitality
  • strong operational knowledge of restaurant, bar, and event service
  • working knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and elevated service standards
  • proven leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • wine, spirits, or hospitality certifications preferred
  • experience managing or supporting an outdoor or rooftop concept preferred

Job Duties

  • deliver refined, consistent, and intuitive service in the Good Fortune rooftop restaurant
  • act as a visible leader on the floor, engaging with guests and setting the tone for elevated hospitality
  • address guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism, warmth, and discretion
  • ensure ambiance, presentation, and service flow align with brand standards and concept vision
  • uphold service standards, SOPs, and quality controls across all dining, bar, and event experiences
  • maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
  • support the execution of rooftop events, banquets, and private dining within the outlet
  • oversee daily operations with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach
  • assist in hiring, training, coaching, and developing service and supervisory staff
  • lead pre-shift meetings and ongoing training to reinforce standards and expectations
  • motivate teams through positive leadership, clear communication, and accountability
  • support scheduling and labor deployment to meet business needs while maintaining service excellence
  • assist with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L performance for the outlet
  • monitor labor, food, and beverage costs to support profitability goals
  • oversee inventory controls, ordering, and vendor coordination
  • review daily reports, sales trends, and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
  • partner closely with culinary leadership, outlet managers, and hotel departments
  • support concept integrity across menus, service style, and guest touchpoints
  • assist with seasonal programming, promotions, and special events
  • communicate operational insights, challenges, and opportunities to the Director of Food & Beverage
  • lead by example through active floor presence and hands-on service
  • coach with intention, offering constructive feedback and recognition
  • create an environment where associates feel supported, empowered, and accountable
  • foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and pride in the guest experience
