Job Requirements

  • specialized experience in food and beverage operations and catering equivalent to the next lower level
  • ability to supervise a diverse workforce
  • effective communication skills
  • males must be registered or exempt from selective service
  • suitability for federal employment
  • may be required to complete probationary period
  • participation in direct deposit pay program
  • possession of social security card
  • successful employment verification (e-verify)
  • favorable background check
  • compliance with REAL ID requirements for government facility access

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in food and beverage operations and catering
  • knowledge of NAF policies and procedures
  • ability to supervise a diverse employee base
  • effective oral and written communication skills
  • proven ability to manage customer and staff relations
  • demonstrated administrative and professional capabilities
  • experience in coordinating events and managing food service environments

Job Duties

  • supervise food and beverage operations at Ocean Breeze Catering & Conference Center, Seaglass Wine Bar, Loggerheads Pub and catering services
  • oversee up to 4 full-time and 40 flexible employees
  • ensure safe and efficient daily operations
  • coordinate event planning and catering logistics
  • maintain compliance with NAF policies and procedures
  • communicate effectively with staff, management, and patrons
  • manage inventory and quality control
