Job Requirements

  • minimum of 5 years experience in food and beverage management
  • experience working in a unionized hotel environment
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • proficiency in budgeting and financial analysis
  • knowledge of health and safety standards
  • bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • proven experience in food and beverage management within a luxury hotel environment
  • strong knowledge of unionized work environments and labor agreements
  • excellent leadership and team management skills
  • solid understanding of health and safety regulations in food service
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in financial management and cost control

Job Duties

  • oversee all food and beverage operations including outlets, in-room dining, and banquet services
  • ensure compliance with union contracts and health and safety regulations
  • maintain high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction
  • manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
  • coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • monitor financial performance and implement cost control measures
  • develop and execute strategies to enhance profitability and operational efficiency
