Job Requirements

  • Prior management experience in restaurants
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to navigate restaurant and kitchen environments including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling and crouching
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Commitment to company values and standards
  • Compliance with food safety, sanitation and alcohol service regulations

  • Prior management experience in restaurants

  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations and quality standards
  • Ability to manage financial aspects of department operations
  • Familiarity with sanitation, safety regulations, and sustainability programs

  • Ability to train and develop staff
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Duties

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring performance aligns with brand standards and HHM core values
  • Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and guest specifications
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards for guests and associates
  • Visually inspect facilities to maintain appealing and attractive appearance
  • Handle internal and external customer interactions with patience, tact and diplomacy
  • Ensure all equipment is operational
  • Participate in restaurant marketing efforts
  • Interact with guests to gather feedback on service and food quality
  • Manage inventory, forecast usage and maintain adequate supplies of linen, glassware, silverware, china and condiments
  • Comply with regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverage service
  • Follow sustainability guidelines under the EarthView program
  • Practice safety standards including use of protective equipment and adherence to MSDS and OSHA protocols
  • Perform additional duties as requested by management
