Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • Previous restaurant banquet and hotel food and beverage experience preferred
  • ServSafe training required
  • TIPS certification required or must be obtained prior to employment
  • Ability to speak read write and comprehend English proficiently
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to sit stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work nights weekends and holidays as required
  • Must maintain professional image and appearance standards
  • Ability to comply with all federal state and local laws including OSHA EEOC wage and hour and health code laws

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of food and beverage in restaurant or hotel operations
  • Ability to speak read write and comprehend English proficiently

  • Able to make decisions with general policies and procedures available
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Able to prioritize organize and manage multiple tasks

Job Duties

  • Direct day-to-day activities ensuring food is prepared according to food handling regulations guidelines and brand standards
  • Maintain cleanliness while being attentive to guests needs
  • Greet all guests and engage in the food area replenishing coffee and providing a memorable guest experience
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with department policies service procedures and standards
  • Forecast implement monitor control and report on cost components to maximize profitability while ensuring adequate supplies and staff
  • Maintain quality and service standards and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out job functions
  • Maintain inventory of all food supply and assist with food orders as necessary
