Job Requirements

  • three years management experience in casual dining or high-volume food and beverage outlet
  • excellent written, verbal and group presentation communication skills
  • effective leadership techniques and staff development skills
  • experience in program and system planning, decision making, statistical reporting and cost-benefit analysis
  • excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • working knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation guidelines
  • at least 21 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • TAM certification
  • health certification
  • non-gaming certification
  • ability to walk, stand continuously indoors more than 75 percent of the time
  • ability to lift, push, pull, carry, bend and kneel up to 50 percent of the time
  • ability to use chemical agents and wear protective equipment less than 25 percent of the time
  • ability to frequently lift or move objects up to 20 pounds
  • good hearing, vision, speech and literacy skills
  • ability to work in smoky, noisy environments and hot or cold temperatures

Job Duties

  • hire, train, schedule, develop, and discipline management and line staff to maintain standards
  • oversee standards of service and address non-compliance
  • monitor staff to ensure outstanding guest service and handle guest complaints
  • evaluate processes and procedures to improve efficiency and service
  • review financial reports including profit and loss statements and payroll to meet budget requirements
  • ensure management staff follows company policies and culinary contract agreements
  • maintain restaurant cleanliness, organization, and equipment
  • ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards are followed at all times
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
