Job Requirements

  • Food safety certification
  • Alcoholic beverage certification
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including walking, climbing stairs, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Experience in hospitality or food and beverage supervision
  • Strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Supervises daily food and beverage shift operations to ensure compliance with policies and standards
  • Monitors staffing levels to meet guest service and financial objectives
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work
  • Maintains a high level of member contact throughout service hours
  • Coordinates food service between culinary and service teams
  • Manages member reservation systems and waiting lists
  • Enforces safety, health, and alcoholic beverage laws and club policies
  • Conducts pre-meal meetings to relay important operational information
  • Inspects team uniforms for compliance
  • Resolves member and guest issues promptly
  • Provides coaching and feedback to staff
  • Assists in developing wine lists and beverage promotions
  • Assures completion of cleaning tasks during shifts
  • Comprehends budgets, payroll, and financial reports
  • Uses POS systems effectively
  • Attends scheduled staff meetings
