Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in food and beverage leadership
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation regulations
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Basic computer skills
- Certification in food safety or sanitation preferred
- Strong financial knowledge of budgeting and cost control
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures and exposure to cleaning chemicals

- Proficiency in food and beverage management software and tools
- Certification in food safety and alcohol service (Food Handler’s & Responsible Beverage Service)
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets
- Ensure consistent quality in food, beverage, and service standards to exceed guest expectations
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Develop and implement efficient workflows and operational procedures
- Prepare and manage the food and beverage department budget including cost control measures
- Monitor and analyze financial performance ensuring profitability and revenue growth
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to achieve best quality and pricing
- Plan and execute promotional events to drive sales and enhance guest experience
- Recruit, train, and mentor food and beverage staff fostering a culture of excellence
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide constructive feedback
- Schedule and manage staff to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak hours
- Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to curate innovative menus and beverage selections
- Respond to guest feedback resolving complaints and enhancing satisfaction
- Monitor and evaluate guest satisfaction scores implementing improvements as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends introducing new offerings and service enhancements
- Partner with other departments to align food and beverage initiatives with overall hotel goals
- Implement sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction and locally sourced ingredients
